  • In January 2023, Milaha established a strategic alliance with Turkish Hareket to deliver integrated heavy lift and oversized transportation services in Qatar.
  • In March 2023, Milaha signed an MOU with Oracle to accelerate its digital transformation strategy, holding joint innovative activities on cloud services, and maximizing cloud services adoption to optimize investment returns.
  • In May 2023, the Marine Offshore Oil & Gas Conference “ShipTek” held in India granted Milaha the award of “Excellence in Maritime Services” in recognition of its commitment to providing outstanding maritime services and excellent logistic solutions.
  • In May 2023, Milaha signed a partnership deal with Google Cloud to accelerate digital transformation, modernize data platforms, and maximize the adoption of emerging technologies.
  • In June 2023, Forbes Middle East listed Milaha as one of the top 100 companies worldwide.
  • In July 2023, acknowledging its role in increasing Hino sales rates, distributing spare parts, and providing related mechanical services, Middle East Hino Motors granted Milaha the “Sales Achievement 2023 Award.”
  • In October 2023, Milaha won the award for CSR/Sustainability Initiatives for the year 2023 from Landmarks in Logistics Awards 2023 UAE.

  • In October 2023, Milaha joined the Global Project Logistics Network (GPLN) to expand its global presence and strengthen its positioning in the field of project logistics.
  • In October 2023, Qatar Customs accredited Milaha as an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) to exercise importing and exporting activities with the best international standards of excellence and safety.
  • In October 2023, Forbes Magazine ME named the Interim Group Chief Executive Officer as one of the “Top Sustainability Leaders in the Middle East” 2023.
  • In November 2023, the Contractor Partner Safety Forum organized by Shell granted Milaha the “Worker’s Welfare Award” in recognition of its commitment to workers’ health, safety, and welfare.
  • In November 2023, Milaha won four “Sword of Honor” awards and four prestigious “Global Honour” awards from the British Safety Council. The awards were provided to Milaha Shipping Agencies, Milaha Gas and Petrochem, Milaha Container Shipping, as well as Milaha’s service units.
  • In November 2023, Milaha received the highest contractor performance evaluation (CPE) award for its operations on Halul Island from QatarEnergy Company.
  • In December 2023, Milaha received the CEO Award of HSEQ from QatarEnergy Company.

  • Milaha launched a Cross Border Trucking Service to connect customers and follow regional markets.
  • Milaha Logistic City (MLC) started to expand its internal capacity and bonded service offerings.
  • “Milaha Express” service and fast-tracking customs clearance were launched by Milaha Logistic City (MLC).
  • The first Hino Showroom in Qatar was inaugurated.

  • The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) granted Milaha the Cyber Security Compliance Certification (NIA). This certificate is the first of its kind to be awarded to a private sector company.

  • Milaha continued its fast-paced digital transformation journey by completing one of the largest Enterprise Resource Planning platform deployments in the region to date with digital partner Oracle.
  • Milaha’s effective safety measures and practices contributed to the wellness of its employees and a 30% reduction in the All-Injury Frequency Rate (AIFR) across the group.
  • Milaha expanded its footprint in the global supply chain by adding the China-India Express service to its container shipping network.
  • Milaha signed the first service contract for its 600,000-barrel capacity Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) unit.

  • Milaha continued to expand into new knowledge-based service lines for energy and global EPCI majors, servicing and supporting multiple elements of Qatar’s oil and gas expansion projects.
  • Milaha continued to develop its shipyard facilities and capabilities, acquiring a new 230-meter floating dock that will be commissioned in 2022.
  • Milaha launched its first innovative Hackathon, enabling “Milaha Citizen developers” to create and design digital tools and solutions to facilitate complex processes and tackle business challenges.

  • Awarded four Swords of Honor for improved health and safety, and four Globes of Honor for environmental sustainability by the British Safety Council (BSC).
  • Milaha added a fourth core business pillar, Marine & Technical Services, focusing on end-to-end service offerings for vessel owners and operators.
  • Milaha partnered with Schlumberger Limited to expand into the well services sector in Qatar, initially developing and equipping well stimulation vessels over the next five years.
  • Milaha has been a key contributor to supporting the State of Qatar’s efforts to provide stable and sustainable supply chains during the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Milaha expanded its investments in shipyard activities through the acquisition of a new floating dock able to accommodate vessels for ship repair.
  • Milaha promoted its investments to complete the digital transformation process by expanding its partnership with Microsoft.
  • Milaha enhanced its capabilities to strengthen cybersecurity to comply with ISO 27001 and the National Information Security Standards.
