Overview

Milaha Gas & Petrochem Unit has been an active participant in the crude tanker sector for the last 25 years. In an effort to expand its service offerings, Milaha Gas & Petrochem successfully converted one of its tankers, Khawr Aladid, into a Floating, Storage & Offloading (FSO) unit.

Milaha Gas & Petrochem Unit is the owner and commercial operator of FSO Khawr Aladid, which is chartered out to Qatar Energy on a long-term basis to serve Al Rayyan field since 2022. 

FSO Khawr Aladid is capable of handling 700,000 barrels of oil and of offloading onto export tankers ranging in size up to that of VLCCs. FSO Khawr Aladid  also has a helipad. 

As the commercial operator of FSO Khawr Aladid, Milaha Gas & Petrochem always ensures contractual compliance and vessel performance.
