Overview

Milaha Gas & Petrochem has been an active participant in the crude tanker sector for the last 25 years. In an effort to expand its service offerings, Milaha Gas & Petrochem is currently managing the conversion of one of its tankers, Khawr Aladid, into a Floating, Storage & Offloading (FSO) unit.

Once the FSO conversion is completed in 2022 Q1, Milaha Gas & Petrochem will be the owner and commercial operator of Khawr Aladid, which will be chartered out to Qatar Energy on a long-term basis to serve Al Rayyan field. 

The FSO unit at Khawr Aladid will be capable of handling 700,000 barrels of oil and of offloading onto export tankers ranging in size up to that of VLCCs. Khawr Aladid will also have a helipad. 

As the commercial operator of Khawr Aladid, Milaha Gas & Petrochem will ensure contractual compliance and vessel performance.
