Milaha was established in 1957 as a public "shipping agency" characterized at that time with high credibility among its customers. In a short time, Milaha transformed itself into a leading and giant international prestigious company that provides trustworthy "Maritime & Logistics" services that attract its customers' confidence in GCC, the Middle East, and around the globe. As a heavy-scale and pioneering company, Milaha strongly focuses on providing integrated transport, marine services, and supply chain solutions. Milaha has owned an integrated "Shipyard & Fabrication" comprising and operating two floating docks, one Shiplift, and several extensive workshops facilities with the ability to carry dry dock and float repair work for vessels up to 230m LOA. The Shipyard, established in 1978 and located at Mesaieed Industrial City, offers various and efficient maritime services, repair and refit services to all types of vessels and yachts, not only in Qatar but also to entire GCC states and the international vessels dock at Doha ports.

Fleet
When the company’s operations started in 1958, Milaha chartered several tugs and barges. Over the following years, the company’s fleet grew in number, size, and type of vessels, including owning and operating geared bulk and break bulk carriers. With the transformation of global freight and shipping methods from break bulk to containerized cargoes, the company decided to adapt to that change and started a new building campaign focused on a specialized container vessel. Today Milaha owns and operates a fleet of modern specialized container vessels which is among the largest in the Arabian Gulf and provides daily services to Hamad & Mesaieed Ports linking Qatar with the rest of the world.

In recognition to its commitment and distinguished services in Middle East, Milaha wins “Hino Sales Achievement Award”
11 July 2023Doha, Qatar, 11 July 2023 – Qatar Navigation Q.P.S.C. ("Milaha"), the industry-leading provider of maritime and logistics solutions in Qatar has been granted the “Sales Achievement Award 2022” by the Middle East Hino Motors in recognition to its great efforts resulted in increasing Hino sales and commitment in providing customers with related mechanical services and original spare parts for 2022 Fiscal Year.
The award was received by Milaha in the aftermath of inaugurating Hino Show Room in August 2022, where various Japanese brands along with their original spare parts were being demonstrated and sold.
Meanwhile, Ali Mohamed Al-Kuwari, Acting EVP of Marine & Technical Services & VP of Marine & Industrial Equipment said: “We are so pleased to receive the 2022 Fiscal Year Sales Achievement Award. As an exclusive and accredited agent for Hino Brands in Qatar, we have launched a strong marketing strategy not only to increase our Hino sales but also to provide customers with outstanding innovative products and after-sales services. As a result of our successful marketing and sales strategy, we have been given this award.”
The newly established Hino Show Room provides a wide range of customers with diversified Hino editions, original spare parts, mechanical and engineering services, and various types of Hino trucks that are designed specifically to meet customers’ needs.
The Hino Show Room includes medium and heavy-duty trucks including HINO 300, HINO 500, and HINO 700 editions. Models are available for all customers at competitive and affordable prices.
Hino trucks are characterized by automatic transmission, innovative technologies, and other mechanical specifications to reduce fuel consumption.
Milaha is the exclusive agent for the Japanese trucks and relevant equipment in State of Qatar where it offers high-quality services to broad customers to increase Hino sales in the region.
After realizing great achievements in Hino sales and remarkable leap in distribution, providing outstanding services to a wide range of customers in the region, Milaha was granted the “2022 Sales Achievement Award”.
