Milaha is the sole distributor of HINO trucks within Qatar and was proud to introduce the new generation of the HINO300 Series light-duty truck at a successful launch event held at Katara, amongst an audience comprising of members of the press and distinguished guests.
Drawing from the continued success of HINO products, innovative developments have been made to deliver a light-duty truck that boasts a long list of impressive features. The HINO300 Series has been completely re-designed to offer improved drivability; the Series now offers an automatic transmission option, more efficient aerodynamics, improved visibility, and an ergonomically designed cabin that delivers comfort as well as convenience. All of these improvements have been made without compromising any of the existing features such as the ease of maintenance and vehicle safety.
The new HINO300 Series is available in Qatar in three different cab variations; the newly remodelled wide cab which is packaged to meet the needs to city driving, the standard cab which is suitable for navigation of tight spaces and finally, the crew cab which has been designed to carry additional passengers which only enhances functionality. This versatile line up enables the HINO300 Series to deliver against the Qatari market transport needs.
The new models were displayed at the launch event that was attended and enjoyed by senior delegates from HINO Japan, top management from Milhaha and valued fleet customers.
Masakazu Ichikawa, Executive Vice President of Hino Motors Ltd said, “We are introducing this exciting new model to all Middle-Eastern countries at the same time, but we consider Qatar to be a valuable market which is demonstrating strong growth and continued investment in HINO products. The launch event was also attended by Mr. Masahiro Kumasaka, Chief Engineer for Hino Motors Ltd who demonstrated key advancements in design and performance in his key note address; “The new HINO300 Series introduced today is designed to reflect durability and reliability that can match that of both medium and heavy-duty trucks. We strongly believe that this has been achieved in the new design of this light-duty vehicle.” He added “Driver vision has been improved through slim A-pillars that greatly reduce forward blind spots.”
Speaking at the event, Mr Yousef Darwish, Chief Executive Officer for Milaha Trading commented: “It is exciting to be able to offer innovative new products that deliver value to the Qatari market. The new Series also offers enough variety to suit all needs, with the introduction of a 6 speed automatic transmission; HINO300 has intuitively understood the needs of the local market. The new HINO300 Series light-duty truck is manufactured in Hamura Plant in Japan, 50km away from Tokyo, in the same plant where HINO produces Toyota’s best selling SUVs Prado and FJ Cruisers while using a high level of reliability through the Toyota Production System.
